Need suggestions/help for chrome rims

Hey everyone i never really been into chrome rims but i was always into hooking up my cars other ways but now i am interested in some custom wheels (Lexani PYRO 20" with custom paint inside) but these wheels as in other chrome wheels weigh around 35 lbs plus once i place a tire on them im running the risk of messing up my suspension i guess, does anyone know the weight of the stock 18" on the 4.6 v8 genesis, thats seems like the info i need to find out first b4 i buy any wheels, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Not sure if this helps, but I purchased chrome versions of the stock 18" wheels and had them shipped to me. The shipping weight says 32 pounds. I would think that is a little high. But that should give you a ballpark number. Definitely not more than 32 pounds.

thanks for the info Moose i found the website than i clicked on ebay on their page & put in HYNUDAI in the search on their ebay page & saw pics of the 18" OEM wheels that i have on my car in chrome they are nice, now im wondering if thats what i want to do www.wheelconcepts.com

I fitted mine with 19" TSW Estoril rims with 245/40R19 Falken tires. I'd say that the new wheels (rim + tire) are about 4-5 lbs heavier. Ride is slightly firmer than stock 18" wheel. I didn't have the guts to go all the way to 20" since this would require very low profile tires for an even harsher ride. The rims were only $163 each, far cheaper what you're looking at ($375)
