  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello All - Need your opinions on the attached spoilers. I recently received the Spec-1 spoiler from Korea (took forever to get) corner of the item was broken off. 3 body shops in Houston said they are unable to fix it. Not sure I want to go through the hassle of sending it back and waiting for a replacement. So I wanted everyone to take a look at the other spoiler I am looking at. It might be a little too obnoxious, but I am torn with getting the larger one or trying my luck getting another spec-1. I don't want my car to look ghetto. Thanks for everyone's opinion.

Spec 1 look better to me...

I like the 2nd one.
In fact had they had my car color I'd oredred one myself.
They're from Florida so it's way easier to del with in terms of customer service,
Keep us posted on what you end up with.
I may bite the bullet order the one from Florida unpainted and I will do the painting job myself.

Hate the first one. I like the second one but I need more pictures with better angles and a little further from the car.

Thanks,

I saw those, but I was hoping for a direct side view of the full car to get the whole impression.

Thanks guys for your input on the spoilers. I went ahead and ordered the one from Car Toys in Florida. I talked to Maurice there and he told me they are hand made out of fiberglass and he is painting it for me. It will arrive here in Texas next week. He e-mailed me several more pictures of it on a silver genny that that had just put one on. It looked pretty sharp. I still have the spec-1 spoiler and he (Car Toys) said he would be able to fix it for me and paint it. I sent him pictures of the broken area. Once I get the other one I will see which one I like better. If I go with the Car Toy's one I will take some side photos at a distance and post so everyone can see what it looks like.

He can also paint ANY paint color. Just call Maurice and give him the paint code.
Also it is cheaper if you buy from his website rather than E-Bay.

BTW I have a 2012 premium in Twilight Blue Pearl.

I have done a couple of mods to it, mostly interior, changing all the interior and puddle lights to blue. Also turned my dome lights into blue without changing the bulbs. It looks really cool! Now when you open the door you get a nice subdued blue glow rather than blinding white light that overpowered my illuminated door sills and other blue lights. I wll take pictures and instructions on my $7.00 project.
