  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Clean off the terminals of the new Battery and clean your Battery cable ends.👍

Sounds like you have an bad alternator that is draining your battery or some other electrical drain. I would have your charging system checked or you will just keep killing new batteries.

I just left O Reillys they checked the altenator and said it was good. Being a brand new platinum battery and dying that quick idk at this point...and i didn't leave any lights on overnight. Im charging the battery now, hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Maybe a bad battery. Take it back and try a different one since it should be under warranty.

Check your fuses @ Battery terminals. Same thing happened to me.

After having no radio and sat nav, the Hyundai workshop people have said the radio will need replacing, 4 to 6 week wait for new radio, WTF.
I'm wondering if they really mean the amplifier has crapped itself.
Now my car has no power whatsoever, waiting for roadside assist guy to come and check the battery.
Been informed a new battery will cost $400, as it is only under warranty for 2 years, bloody hell a $90,000 car that has a 2 year battery warranty.
Not happy, the car came with a 7 year warranty.
