Hey Genesis Forums, i just bought a 2012 Genesis 3.8 Tech package Sedan for 9.5k at 125k miles and was wanting to ask a few questions.
1. What are the best Bang for Buck$ tires to put on our cars, not to expensive?
2. What are something i should look into buying(Maintenance/Parts/Fuzes/interior pieces) that would be worth fixing/replacing rn?
3. Is it worth doing a Trans service(since i just got the P0841 Trans Fluid Pressure sensor/Switch A Circut Range/Performance) at this mileage and a diff service?
4. Is there anything i should know that goes bad or something i should look out for?(i came from a 06 acura that had balljoint issues)
I already plan on doing an Oil Change, Spark Plugs, Coilpacks, Serpentine belt, and Additives for the Carbon build-up.

If you want a tire recommendation, give some more information. The tires I use in Florida is not what I used in Connecticut.

I live in Maryland so our winters can be a bit more mild than your state but I am on my 4th set of Continental tires. Smooth ride always and great in the winter and with snow/ice. I use the manual upshift to 2nd gear when starting from a stop during snow and ice. Had the Michelins from new and they floated too much.

OK bet, mine came with a Pirelli P7's but it's gonna need new tires soon.

1. Michelin Crossclimate2s are excellent all-seasons with a quiet, comfortable ride and great dry, wet grip. Top of the class and only $250ea. Treadlife vs. cost is where your bang for the buck is, and Michelins have held up far longer for me (>30kmi) than others like OEM Hankooks (15kmi). YMMV. For performance street tires I'm a huge fan of Michelin PS4S. I have them on both my '12 and my ZL1, but they are a bit pricy at $300ea.

2. For badges, emblems, etc. check out the Genesis Store at the very top of this page. Lots of good stuff and proceeds from the sales support this excellent forum.

3. Yes, IMO. I just did a dump and fill at 102kmi and my trans is shifting much smoother.

4. Coils not needed and are not a common failure item even on high mileage cars; just change them when they fail. Do the plugs, diff, coolant and brake fluid if they have not been previously/recently done. Brakes last a very long time on these cars so inspect before pulling the trigger.
