  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pwerhaps a stupid question but I got a new cell phone - will this automatically work in my Genesis or do I have to change settings? I know, I have been too lazy to take a phone outside and see if it works!
If settings have to be changed, I assume I can do this as the dealer did it for me when I purchased the car.
Thanks!

I only have one phone paired to my system and it was fairly simple but no seamless. The phone is not just going to work without being paired up and yes you can do it just read the manual. I suggest that you delete the old phone first so the new phone has priority. Been a bit since I paired mine to my Genny but you can manage.
My wife just got a certified 2012 Azera and the newer system is definitly better. Automatically loaded contacts as well. Good luck and it should only take you about 15-20 minutes to pair up.

Delete the old phone and follow user manual instructions to pair the new phone. It's so easy you might not even have to use the manual.
