  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have been living with taking my Genesis G80 Sport to a Hyundai dealership for 3 years. They will open their new Genesis only dealership in early 2024. If anyone is interested it is Hyundai of West Houston. I wish them the best of luck with their new dealership.

Because of the last three years of service in the ghetto Hyundai and sometimes Mitsubishi service department, they will not seeing me in the showroom of their new dealership. When you treat a luxury car buyer poorly for 3 years, you just cannot expect their business in the future. Genesis is not my first luxury class car, I have bought many. I just have not been treated like a "commoner" when I owned competing brands.

Other manufacturers would always toss me the keys of one of the new models trying to entice me into buying one. In three years that happened ZERO times at Genesis. I could not even get a loaner car when I needed one. In my opinion there will be the largest number of non-repeat customers that any luxury manufacturer has ever had. Sure I have friends that were always repeat customers at other manufacturers same dealerships for a decade. Genesis would have to give me a new Genesis to see me in their dealership when I trade mine in.

Am I unhappy with the car? No, actually it did everything that I ever asked, in a eager and satisfying way. The car is great, the service and dealership sucks.
