New Equus Owner. Thoughts on extended warranties?

First, thanks for this site as it helped me as I researched these cars. I bought a 2012 Equus Signature today with 25k original miles. It is an amazing car. From my research, I am not seeing a lot of major issues with these vehicles. Am I missing something? I am interested in hearing from current owners as to their thoughts on whether or not I should get an extended warranty. I am looking at $2-$3k for an extended warranty and I typically do not get extended warranties and instead put that money in the bank and use it for repairs. My wife and I do not put more than 10k miles a year on cars and trucks so often times the time period of the warranty expires before our vehicles get to the that magic 100k mark where problems start to arise.

2012 Had Major Problems with the Then New Tau v8....Do a Search, LOTS of Motor Replacements by Hyundai!! Early 2013's the Problems were solved!! Usually thats why 2012 Prices are so low! Again do a Search!! Hope ya got a Warranty!
