New G70 Bumper/Door Issues

You're not even close to as anal as me lol. I rent a car any time I drive more than 300 miles round trip.

I've decided I can live with the bumper being warped underneath if they can fix the alignment. Mainly because you brought up a good point about leaving my brand new car sitting at a body shop and having a repainted bumper.

I was more anal before for sure, to the point of not using my nice cars if it was raining, but what was the point of owning them, if I didn't use them? Ha ha. But I've made a lot of 'errors' that wish I knew before, so always glad to help others avoid an even worse disappointment

. I'm 61 now, and dealing with a cancer that I just cannot shake for 8+ years, so that changed me quite a bit, and don't sweat the small stuff anymore. But still wish I was even less than now.

I picked up my 2022 in Jan of last year. It has the same dip in the same location on the underside of the bumper.

I think it's a defect, all of the g70s on the lot had it. Again. Kinda crazy how bad the exterior QC is on these lol.

I brought my car to the dealer for the wheels, the bumper alignment and the rear drivers side door alignment. They didnt do anything and said they will probably still need to send it to a body shop (which is crazy). I told them I cared most about the door, which shouldn't need a body shop, ffs I could probably do it myself... also the wheels, how hard is that. Submit a claim to genesis and get me two new wheels.

The bumper may or may not require a body shop but I told them if it did and the door didn't that I just want it documented in case it caused issues further down the road.
