  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello All,

I just got my 2015 Genesis AWD w/Ultimate package last week and I've been trying to answer some of my questions with research but I figure it may be easier to just ask.

So the first question; Floormats.

Seems the Two Most Popular ones are the MaxPider and Weathertech. Appears the Maxpider doesn't come in AWD format. Is this correct??
I've also seen some nice Diamond ones; but they look plasticky and loud? Any experience?

I'd ideally love a very luxurious feeling mat that won't be a PITA to clean.

Second Question; Rebadging.

It appears there is a 2015/2016 Winged Emblem that's the most popular; but I also see the g80 winged badge.. which to me looks a bit nicer. Possible to install that one? Any reason not to? Also, Does anyone have any feelings about replacing the lower Genesis Worded badge with the G80 lettering?

Thanks!

You can get OE all season floor mats online. If you want higher quality and something you can wash out easily, hands down WeatherTech.

This website sells the winged emblems that have been altered (removed mounting posts) to be put on the Genesis. Click on SHOP above and it will take you to where they are sold. If you need instructions, SEARCH on TRUNK EMBLEM.

Thanks for the reply. I saw those!
I suppose my question was; can you put the G80 badge on a 15 Genesis? Imo it looks nicer. Is there a reason to not do this?

I saw the weather-tech floor liners! They look nice but VERY industrial. Any more luxurious/better looking options?

Reality is 90% of the time i’ll be walking on pavement; park in a covered deck at work.

Thanks!!

I saw those as well. I was hoping there might be a less "Rugged" or "industrial" looking set of all-weather mats. Something a little more luxurious?
Reality is i'll be walking on Pavement 90% of the time. I park in a covered garage at work; and never more than ~50 steps from my apartment door at home. I don't need it to be able to handle a ton of mud; just normal dirt/water.

And I also saw those! Would it be possible to put the G80 Winged Badge on the 2015 Genesis? It looks nicer to me, but Idk if there are compatibility issues; or any other reasons it might not work well.

Thanks!

I just took everything off of the back then added the wings, even my wife said it looks much better now.

When I told her I was going to de-badge the back of the car she rolled her eyes and said, " You can't leave anything alone". Then when she came home from work and saw it with just the wings she said it looked much better and classy without all the badging cluttering up the rear end. That dealer frame is long gone. It was only there until I got my permanent NJ plates now I have a nice plain gloss black frame.

WeatherTechs came in my car from the previous owner. One of the reasons that I bought that particular car - a good sign that the previous owner looked after it.

They're great at catching debris and fit perfectly - but they ARE industrial looking. A friend uses Coca mats in his cars. Look great but there's no lip to catch stuff.
