  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello Everyone,

I hope all is well with you all. Well this weekend I purchased a 2013 certified pre-owned with 18,000 on the clock. Full bumper to bumber warranty for up 15 yrs or 150,000 miles zero deductible and 5 yrs unlimited mileage on the wheels and tires no extra cost in my deal. I bought a Standard package. Night shadow brown (chocolate) in color, tan interior. Full Re-badging(Wings on wheels, trunk), V8 chrome door molding to be done this week. Will post pictures once everything is complete.

Congrats and welcome!

I hope you have years of enjoyment out of your vehicle!

Welcome! What did those Warranty extensions/add-ons add to the cost? To be honest, I've never heard of a 15 year extended warranty.

Welcome to the Genny family. I am sure you will enjoy yours as much as I do mine. What did you pay if you don't mind sharing with the group?

Welcome aboard and happy motoring!

:welcome: to the Genesis family, may she motor down the road for your for many years to come.....congrats !

Hi all

I just bought one on Saturday as well. Although I went with the 2011 4.6 tech with 25k. The car was not at the dealership for more than 48 hours when I snagged it. I wanted a 2012+ with the 8 speed but the old lady set a budget.

Congratulations and welcome to you also. There seems to be a wave of Genny purchases of late. I am sure you will enjoy your Genny as much as we do.

I would pick up an extended warranty through Hyundai so it covers all the electronics in the vehicle past the 3yr/36k (electronics warranty), the rest of the car is 5yr/60k and 10yr/100k on the transmission. It will run you around $1500, do some shopping around.....it's well worth it as a single repair to any of the electronics is very expensive.

It was a certified pre-owned I was out the door for $24,450 with tax, title, license, etc..... The warranty that was in the deal is a bumper to bumper 12 yr/ 120,000 miles. Zero deductible. No 15 yr warranty

Interesting. I've never heard of a 12 year warranty either.

Haven't heard of a 12 yr warranty either.. nor have I ever heard of a "free" warranty. Not even the original factory warranty ain't "free". j/s
