New GPS Maps Available (for Garmin)

I just got notification on my Windows desktop that new maps are available for my Garmin GPS. I hooked up my Garmin to my computer via USB cable, downloaded and installed the updates in about 10 minutes. I get free quarterly updates for the life of my Garmin 40LM, which cost me about $90 on sale (this is the price of the GPS unit with lifetime quarterly updates).

You know that you are just getting everyones hopes up with the title, to later discover you are talking about your garmin and not the car's navi. Very cruel!

Thanks for the heads up...I'll update the 50LM I gave my parents the next time I visit them. They drive in Chicago often, and anyone who is familiar, the updates are a must.
