New GV70 Battery dead in just a year and dealership + corporate playing games.

My wife drives her leased 2025 GV70 to work almost daily during the winter months (60 miles daily) , last week the 12V battery just died all of a sudden. I had it jump started and drove to the dealership service center where after parking, the battery was completely dead again.

The dealership ran some tests and believe its the battery but apparently they are saying Genesis Corporate wont accept it and believe the battery to be fine.

Its been two days already and as a first time Genesis Owner, this has been beyond frustrating. Is this a known issue? A new battery should not be completely dying within a year an 3 months.

PS: Overall great car but the luxury owning/dealership experience on Long Island has been piss poor so far.

I don't know what is going on but I have had a problem with a dealership in mass..It seems that alot of genesis dealership service dept. just don't care about the customer
