New headlights for the G80?

Today, I saw a silver G80 making a turn and I realized that the white LED around the headlight turned amber and had the LED type blinking. My 15' ultimate has also the white LED around the headlight but the turn signal is just a basic amber bulb. Is this what's new with the 2017 G80? I gotta be honest, it looks AMAZING!!

That is not the G80 function. All genesis/G80 base model cars (the ones without HID headlights) do that. I have a G80, it does NOT do that. I see a 2016 Genesis do it before.
