  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all- I've been a lurker here and finally decided to join and start posting.

I have a 2014 Genesis Coupe Ultimate. I recently upgraded my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to an S5, and paired the phone successfully with the car.

The issue is that now, when the contact download starts, I get an audible and popup warning telling me that the download has started and to check my phone to see if I need to authorize it. I already did this the first time it downloaded, and haven't had to authorize the download on my phone since.

My question is, how do I disable the warning?

Thanks in advance for your help/advice.

Good luck. Our 2015 sedan won't upload new contacts and interrupts with the failure audio message every time we start the car. The dealer doesn't have a clue and Hyundai blames our phones. Second and unrelated to your post is all we can get from Blue Link is a ten minute remote start by phone run time. The car is not friendly to dumb owners like my wife and I. The software is anything but easy to navigate for us.
