Hey Genesis lovers, wanted to say hello! I bought my "Black Beauty" in March and since just before then have lurked this and other forums. Thanks to you all for helping me decide on the car, as well as how I might feel about various mods, by way of your comments. Finally decided to join in the discussion on this forum
I've also grown very tired of the "other" forum on AutoGuide, where they enforce one topic and one topic only - supermodding the 2.0T Coupe. Even the moderators will shout you down if you try to express a different, even factual, point of view about the V6 and V8 cars. Had enough, and so I figured I'd better migrate over here
Am I welcome??
Maybe I'm a gusher, but this is my daily driver and I'm very pleased. Hyundai has done an excellent job giving us an R-Spec model that really requires no modding - wanting mods is another matter, of course. My only small gripe sometimes is, if standing close, it needs to sit about an inch or two lower, mainly in the front. Yet, I do NOT want to lose the impressive balance and handling of the R-Spec, which I frequently put to use!
As those of you with black coupes know, the Becketts Black is a pearl metallic, and with the Genesis emblems, 19s, and Brembos, alreadly looks rare and custom in person, very much like an exclusive supercar or some mysterious interceptor. The rock star attention it gets is intoxicating, when it isn't annoying
Thanks again!
