  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi!

I just got my new Genny yesterday, a brand-new 2014 Parisian Gray R-Spec. Test drove it at the dealer's with 32 miles on the odo. The dealer was invented to move it off the lot, so I think I got a pretty OK deal. I spent most of this afternoon programming destinations in the Nav system and playing with the bluetooth phone connection. I'm looking forward to a lot of enjoyable - and spirited - driving!

Congrats on your new ride. I recently bought a new 2014 base, got $10K off MSRP. Been very pleased with the car so far.

I've got the same exact car and the Parisian Gray is known for being the fastest R-Spec! :) ---- What did you you pay for yours? I've had mine for about 1 year now. You will enjoy the heated Steering wheel a well!

Glad to hear that the Parisian Gray R-Spec is the fastest! :D

Believe it or not, this is my slow car. I also have a 1992 bright red Corvette, heavily modified for drag racing. I compete with it at a nearby NHRA drag strip, where it does the quarter in mid 11's and does zero to sixty in mid to low 3's!

I hope I got a good deal. I just posted the details in the long thread about pricing. I got it for $37.5K plus tax. The deal was made considerably sweeter with the financing:60 months at 2.39%. I guess paying my bills on time helps after a while.

Finally, the heated steering wheel is a great treat for my wife, who had a hand-gasm driving it tonight. There's still snow on the ground here in New England. I appreciate the cooling on the driver's seat, which I was running all the way home from the dealer's yesterday. We got home and the odometer was sitting at exactly 100 miles. Oh to be young again!

I think you got a good deal! .... I paid $41K for mine about 1 year ago. No matter what the price, eventually you will love the car and forget the price you paid. (I had to look mine up!).

Bottom line if you buy a car you don't like, it won't matter if you got it for $10 Grand less than everyone else!

I just uploaded a few photos of the new R-Spec on the Pictures gallery. Here's a taste:
