  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello, everyone. Proud new owner here of a 2010 Genesis 3.8L sedan, Sterling Blue Metallic with the Premium Plus package. I've been reading these forums for awhile now, thoughout my decision process. Thanks to you all for your informative posts that helped me choose the Genesis.

Hi!

Congrats on your purchase! I agree. This forum has provided me with much info. I think Im about ready to take the plunge on a 2010 4.6.

I've spent the long weekend familiarizing myself with all the bells and whistles. This is hands down the best car I've ever owned. Very happy with my decision.

Congrats on the new car! and welcome to the boards.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Nice - great color choice!

Yep, I love the color and so does everyone I talk to. It looks like nothing else out there.

That's one reason I went with blue! 99% of what you see in large/premium cars is white, black or silver. Nothing wrong with those colors (except black, you can't keep it looking clean!), but they make a sea of anonymity when taken together. I love that you can get the car in a few stand out colors, like the two blues, (although Sapphire is pretty dark), and the red. Ford has a really pretty blue for its Fusion, and Toyota has always had a pretty blue for its Camry.

I'd love to see a jade pearl green like the old Lexus SC400s had. Color is such a great way to add some personality to a car. When I park my Genesis amid a sea of black, white and silver cars, it really stands out!

Welcome to Genesis and welcome to the Forum. You'll find a lot of great info here. Keep an eye on the appearance and lighting forums. You can get pillar covers, chrome accents, grill replacements (who would want to), spoilers, garnishes, clear bras, tinted windows, etc. You could probably spend more on customization than on the car. Look for lighting replacements for the convenience lights, foot well, trunk and lights glove box lights. Korean Auto Imports is a great site, brightleds.com, diodedynamics.com - even type Hyundai Genesis into Amazon and you'll find some great stuff.

Thanks for the tips, Rich. Right now there's not a thing I'd want to change, although I'm sure I'll start getting the itch to improve as time passes.
