Were new members, and hope Im posting this in the right area. I've been looking around where to say hello, and seems like this spot will work.
Were Glenn & Lisa of McKinney Texas. We just traded our Dodge Challenger for the 2011 R- Spec 3.8. We've had her a week, and already started with the Mods.
So far we added a high gloss wing spoiler. Had the factory 19" wheels High gloss powered coated, wing badges " Art of speed " added front and rear, window tint 15% front 30% rear windows.

Ok, I must ask because it's killing me but why did you trade in your Dodge Challenger? I test drove the SRT-8 before I bought my 3.8 Grand Touring and truth be told, I loved driving the Challenger. However, it was just to far outside of my price range. Oh, and Welcome!

Well please dont make me cry on our Chally. The car was a total head turner and car show WINNER!!!! Great looking car........The Inferno Red clear coat pearl paint was a show stopper / head turner everywere we went with her.

The ONLY reason why I had to part ways with her ( named her SEXY ) is due to a long list of issues that kept coming up with the car. Fit and finish, discoloring plastics panels and trim, sinking dash above passagers air bag on dash. Repaired and sank again in 3 months. CanBus computer smokin crack while drivening it.......Have more time to read? I could go on and on!!!!!!

BUT still miss her still What made me really made sad is that she was always hand washed and waxxed car. ( Just paste waxxed the weekend before )When I went back to the dealership to finish the aftermarkets install of window tint, my son spotted her in the used car section of the lot. We walked over to find her covered in Buffer burn marks and swirls in the clear coat.......My Salesman walked up to us and said to me " Let her go~ its a done deal ~and your new car is awsome looking with the Mods you've added".

Before I even said Hello to him. My Son, who just turned 11 on Halloween. Turned to the Salesman and started yelling at him about how they ruined the cars paint by putting a buffer too her. " You couldn't tell she was waxxed and didn't need that machine, you ruined her coat". " My DAD always hand washed and waxxed his car, I can't beleive you did that to her paint.

Had to agree with him, and couldn't believe they kill her shinny coat. Had to laugh due to my son laying into him like I would have, if that was still my car.

However love this little yellow&Black rocket on wheels. The power, handing, brakes and over all looks are just as awsome. Just not a retro 70's look.
Its a 2011 High TEC jet fighter. Its just missing the wings and some guns! HHMMM that might me the next Mod
