  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey GV family. Picked up my GV60 a few weeks ago and about to have it wrapped. Going from stock white to satin black wrap with semigloss black accents.

Great to join the coolest drivers club.
I left a Jaguar F-Pace. Fuel and maintenance intensive.
Really looking forward to seeing what everyone has done to modify their GV60’s!

The Jaguar F-Pace is a nice CUV but I don't think you're missing much with the Genesis GV60! How do to the two vehicles compare to one another?

Welcome. Which model did you get and where are you located?

There aren't a lot of places to customize the performance model. The one I am planning on is to change out the Michelin Primacy tires for Michelin Pilot tires. I was on the waiting list for a Lucid Air for a couple of years; yesterday I was out for a walk and thinking about my GV60P and there isn't a lot I am missing compared to the Lucid. Range is more limited on the GV60 then on several other competitors but fortunately I don't care about range and the only way to customize range would be to reduce performance and I wouldn't recommend that. My loaded GV60 is quite a few thousand dollars less than the Lucid would have been and I can easily use that money to rent a car for any long trips.

Another customization I have been considering you are already taking care of: I don't like the silver border around the top of the doors and will probably end up wrapping that. Finally, I have the white/grey interior color combo which came with beige floor mats. I changed them out immediately for black ones. The black ones match the mat in the hatch and will much better hide dirt.

Sometimes I pass another car just for the blast of fun when I step on the gas. It is a little rocketship (and unlike most car owners, I prefer a smaller vehicle). You have a considerable degree of customization on regen. I keep it on auto but then reduce the regen to the lowest level while still staying on regen. That lets me coast a lot and drive the way I have been driving for decades.

On a slightly different note, I have a 6'11" friend. He just bought a truck and he had a BMW X4 for himself and his wife had a Lexus NX. She loved the NX but they had to get rid of it because he couldn't fit in it so she is now driving the X4. He tried sitting in my much shorter GV60 and it had plenty of interior room for him. It is amazing how much interior room there is.
