  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just got this beauty, she’s at 71k miles with two prior owners. I’ve read about the air suspension and curious if Maxcar warranty covers it if it does happen?

Will post pics when I’m home. No joke on the interior / exterior as it’s damn near new looking.

Anything that I need to check out as I’m under a 10 day window

I would take it to a mechanic you trust to have them do a thorough inspection. You really should be doing that before buying.

I’m planning too just received from shipping so I’ve bought a few used cars from them Audi , Lexus and never had any issues with them. Last car was totaled from a depressed deer 🦌 so insurance sadly screwed me

These days you can’t fully trust dealers anymore. My Genesis was totaled by a deer, but he was channeling his inner Superman.

A used Audi is something you should basically never buy without a full through inspection you can see. Mechanical, electronical, all of it. VAG vehicles are known to be horrible on reliability and even when it's a rather good reliability vehicle, it comes up with these weird issues out of nowhere such as oil smoke in gas (not even talking about the oil burning problems of older Audi vehicles).

IMO, an Equus, even given the older chassis... is still typically a more comfortable ride in several ways. Such as having an organ pedal. It's a lot more ergonomic on your calf muscles than those tiny stripped pedals Audi cars come with - and they all come with it like without any exceptions save for the E-Tron.

Back more on topic, yes, agreed on having your current vehicle checked as well. Even something like a cheap ELM327 adapter with a basic Android app can tell you a lot about a car than nothing. Those dealers also do a lot of fishy stuff such as selling cars with winter tires on summer, but that's just the better part of the things. Even genuine car services are known to disable OBD error codes when they don't bother dealing with them, etc.
