New Owner - 5.0L R-Spec

Just purchased today, 5.0L R-Spec that was dealer owner's demo. Purchased after finding this car representing as new, both cosmetically and in terms of the drive, whereas another demo I looked at earlier this week at a different dealer had clearly been run hard and put away wet. The car isn't a world-beater in an absolute sense against its much more expensive competition, but amazing overall for what it cost. The car has exceeded my expectations in the 50 or so miles home from the selling dealer and a little driving around tonight with my wife (who had to drive home herself in our old car from the dealership!). I look forward to being part of this forum!

actually quite the opposite... the darker the color , you will reduced performance due to heat soak (has been proven).

However you can offset the performance loss of a black car by adding racing stripes !

No, I drove the one at Patrick two days earlier. It had a $1400 option package for Bridgestone "Pole Position" summer tires, but beyond paying $1400 for a consumable item, the ride on that car was absolutely brutal. The closest example I can give is driving a leaf-spring Jeep Wrangler; bouncing up/down in the seat over every little pavement imperfection. On top of that, that car was filthy inside, had some odd powertrain noises through the dash at high RPM, and the left rear wheel was brutally curb rashed. Overall, the car gave off the appearance of being run hard and put away wet by many people who cared little to not at all about it. The price on that car may look attractive, but it wasn't worth the money in the context of what else was available. I bought the same car with the Bridgestone tires for $1500 less, rides much better, and overall is like a brand new car though it was an owner's demo.
