  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just picked up my new Genesis yesterday... so far I am loving it.

V6 model, w/ the Premium Package plus in Sterling Blue Metallic. First mods are the genesis wings and tinted windows. Whats next? I dont know... suggestions?

Look forward to many miles on this thing and new info to be found here.

Congrats on the new ride. Please post some pictures. I'm considering the sterling blue for my Genesis and I would like to see some examples of it.

I know color is in the eye of the beholder, but just FYI, the first car off the truck at my dealer [July 27th] was a Sterling Blue Prem +. It is still sitting there, even thought they have sold every other car they have, plus have a waiting list for tech packs. Their first V8 will be a base model in Sterling Blue. Wondering how that will do.

Opposite experience with my local dealership. They started out with about 8, with at least one in each color (excluding white of course), and when I drove by today they only had 3 left. One in dark blue/black, black/black, and cabernet/tan all remain, and all were non-tech. The sterling blue/tan tech V6 that they had is long gone. I took my test drive in it a few weeks back, and before seeing it in person wasn't much of a fan, but it definitely grew on me while I was there (so much so, that I'm considering it if I purchase a Genesis this year).

Congrats on the new car!

dude congrats. i want one soooooo bad. my unce called me this morning and said he was on his way to the car lot. he is a previous lexuxs and mercedes owner and he is jugging between the genesis and bmw 7er. enjoy your new ride.

Thanks. I too think the color grows on you. I liked it well enough to buy it, but now I absolutely love it.

Today, I showed the car to one of my sales reps who I told that I bought a Hyundai before they saw it and after seeing it said, "that is what you were talking about, I thought that was a beemer!" Looking forward to many more of those comments.
