New Power Steering Pump Arrived Broken. Can I Swap Parts?

Hello,

My 2013 3.8 Sedan with 48k on the ODO has a bad power steering pump. Ordered a new one from Rock Auto and it arrived with a piece broken off. From the looks of it, it looks like I can unbolt the piece from the current pump and put it on this new one without affecting its performance. What do you guys think? Does it need to go back or will the swap suffice? I was so happy to finally receive this and be rid of the incessant whining of the pump!!
