Sadly the old white Gen 2 5.0 with powder coated rims was declared a total loss. Picked up a Caspian Black with black interior Gen 2 5.0 today in Tarpon Springs. The nice thing is I get to swap everything over to the new car from the old since it will all fit. Only thing I can't bring are the wheels as one is damaged. I'm going to be removing everything from my first car tomorrow including trying to snag one of the non affected full size front wheels to replace my spare in the new car.
Fun note I was shocked to see that the previous owner of my new car had Pilot Super Sports put on the car. Coming from having Conti DWS06's you can definitely feel a difference in terms of ride. I wouldn't say the tires are harsh or anything but steering feels like it is more deliberate and responsive as well as a little bit more road rumble/noise. Not 100% sure yet on performance characteristic benefits or differences between the Extreme contacts but I'll update once I get my pedal commander installed and can compare with a more similar driving profile over time.
