  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello, I am selling four (4) brand new TPMS sensors which are OEM Part Number 52933 J5000, These each come in their original box, original packaging, and have never been used, installed or opened. They are brand new, no issues, no surprises.

I am selling as the winter rims I bought for the G70 come packaged with the TPMS included. There's more to the story but not worth getting into here.

$100 CAD plus shipping costs. I would prefer to ship in Canada but will ship to the US to if required.

Thanks,

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Like we spoke on the phone today, I would like to do the deal please text me some pics for the proof.

Alright perfect, consider them yours unless you decide not to buy after seeing the pictures. As I mentioned the sensors are in the car at the Genesis dealer right now (just found out the rims don't fit today and ordered new rims from Genesis with TPMS in them), so as soon as I have the car back tomorrow I'll send you the pictures. Thanks,

Which rims did you end up buying? Would you please share the model/part number for the wheels?

I bought FAST WHEELS FC04 TITANIUM 18X8 +40 5X114.3MM 72.6MM
SKU: FC04-1880-65TN+40C726

I haven't installed the tires on them but I tried only the rims on the car and they fit perfect and clear the Brembo's. I think with tires it shouldn't be a problem since it's 18" tire (1" smaller tire size). I bought a 225/45/R18 Winter Set to fit on these rims.

I will wait for your TPMS sensor pictures patiently.

Part Number: Touren Tr60 3260-8803G
Size: 18x8
PCD: 5x100 / 5x114.3
Load index: 1600
Offset: 40
Finish: GUNMETAL

Went to have them installed today and they dry fit the rims and said that the inside lip of the rim is too close to the shock because of the offset, close enough they weren't comfortable installing them because in spirited driving and some minor flex in the car they may contact. They are doing a few other things on the car, including some freebie /warranty work, and the dealer has been beyond fantastic so I didn't push the issue right or wrong. Just said screw it and got rims from them now on order. I should be able to sell these rims close to cost as I got a good deal.

Just from memory I know the rim you have is commonly used on the G70, and I have read the 40 offset is ok in some threads on this site which is why I went with it. Could be mine is offset the wrong way, slightly beyond tolerance or wider than other rims, or the dealer was just being extremely cautious. Not sure. You could post your rim specs on the winter wheel/tire thread and I'm sure someone will say if they work.

I was actually was going to go with TR60 Rims as well because of the price point of view but I got the guaranteed fitment on the FC04 wheels from the seller. Now you got me thinking that if they would install or not just for the same reasons because when I installed just the rims I inspected the inner lips too and they felt a little close to the shocks because of the offset. When I asked Genesis dealer they recommended the rims with +35 offset but the website where I bought it they said +40 offset will fit too. I guess I am going to have to return these and get a set of +35 offset.

I appreciate your help.

When I get the car back tomorrow I'll ask for some more specifics and how "serious" a risk it would have been to install. If I can find out anything else I will and let you know, and not a problem.

Here in Alberta with harsh Winter I wouldn't wanna take the slightest risk when there are so many $$$ at stake. Even if I get it installed somehow and something happens to the shocks because of a pothole or a bump I could end up paying a fortune amount of money for repairs and it won't be covered under warranty either because it's an aftermarket product on the leased car. I would rather love to return these and get something cheaper like...

FAST WHEELS SWITCH TITANIUM 18X8 +35 5X114.3MM 67.1MM - I am sure that you got the same but Black color

The above should fit okay as per what Genesis specs are stating. Also, it won't require any hub ring because the center bore size is the exact same. Thank you for looking into it.

Looks like I will have to stick to the wheels I have. They are refusing to take the return as the wheels I ordered are a guaranteed fitment by Fast Wheels and the seller. They are saying is that Hyundai has a contract with Fast Wheels in Canada and they are sharing all the details of a car before they provide a guaranteed fitment promise. I will have to find a local dealer to have it installed I don't think I will be taking any chances with the dealership. If I may ask how much did you pay for your wheel installs at Genesis dealer?

I'm at work right now, still have the loaner and waiting for my car back to send you pictures, just as an update. My thoughts on your last post.

If you wanted to incur the hassle you could have the Genesis dealer try to install the rims, bring up the feedback I mentioned from my dealer about being to close to the shock and see what they say. If the clearance is fine and they install great, if not and they decline to install ask for it in writing. Send the company you purchased from a copy of that document in writing and insist on a refund.
In regards to the dealer all you are basically asking of them is to lift the car on a hoist, and dry fit the rim for an expert opinion. If they can install even better. If not take it somewhere else, but potentially risk warranty on the shock maybe, not sure.

You can also buy spacers for the rims. 10mm is all you need.

My rims are on order, so not installed yet. I'm better $25/tire minimum, maybe more, but I never asked.
