  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys I just bought a 2019 G70 so new to me but used has 48,000 miles. I just have a few questions regarding the vehicle.
I have noticed that the car seat on drivers side doesn't move back when the seating for seat ease is set but the steering wheel does. After some research it sounds like this is not an issue as the car seat only moves back if you are way forward this is a safety issue is this correct?
Second concern is the screen is delaminating is this something I just need to try to get fixed under warranty?
Lastly i have notcied that the camera on passenger side flickers from time to time again probably just a warranty fix?

Love the car just have these few concerns. Thank you and I am excited to learn more about this amazing vehicle.

Congrats and welcome aboard fellow 2019 G70 owner! You will LOVE your new car.

The seat ease issue has been talked about here quite a bit. Bottom line is yes, it really doesn't work like advertised because the manufacturer wants to ensure you don't smash any rear seat passenger's ankles. What I do is set the steering wheel as high up as it will go and the seat as far back as it will go and save it to seat memory #2. Now, when I'm getting out of the car I hit #2 and everything moves out of the way for me. It's not a perfect solution but it works.

The screen delamination happens to almost all of the earlier pre-facelift screens. Mine was pretty bad in the top right corner of the screen and I was able to have it replaced for free under warranty. It's like a $2,000 part otherwise. It's just a cosmetic defect but it really bothered me too. My 2019 warranty ran out the middle of last month and I got it fixed in January, so I just made it. Do you know when yours runs out? The dealer can tell you if you give them your VIN.

I'm not sure about the camera issue but it would be covered under your warranty if you still have one left.

Happy driving!

At least my '23 has the option to move just the steering wheel up, or both the steering wheel up, and the seat cushion back. Check your settings.
