New To Genesis, 2015 Sedan 5.0. A Couple Questions

Hello Forum,

I just bought my first Genesis a 2015 5.0 (not Ultimate) with 19k miles. I wanted an Ultimate, but this deal was too good to pass up. After 3 days I so far love the car. Lots of power and quiet luxury at the same time.

I have a couple questions for everyone.

1. I was originally looking for an Ultimate mostly for the adaptive suspension. Is there a big difference between base 5.0 and Ultimate adaptive suspension?

2. My daytime running lights are the turn signals. I thought they were the LEDs in the headlight? Is there a way to change it?

3. Any advice for maintenance, preventative maintenance, things to watch out for?

4. My interior looks different than what I have seen online? I do not have the knob in the middle, a second row on buttons on the bottom of the console below the radio settings, etc. See pic.

This one I can answer. The know is only in the Ultimate. It has a 9 1/4" screen and the know is the controller. Other models have the 8" screen. I think is is actually more reliable.

You may want to do a search here on the 2015 turn signals. I know others have changed them to LED

Thank you for the response. Interesting how one inch screen makes such a big difference (adding knob, buttons, etc) For conversation, why is the 8inch more reliable?

Not just screen size, it is a complete different head unit. I had a 2015 Ultimate and had the head unit replaced, as did a few others here. AFAIK. it was made by LG, not sure who makes the 8"/
