  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is my first post, so i dont know if im posting in the right section...

But anyway, my name is Tony, I dont own a genesis, but I am very close to buying the 2011 2.0 T. I previously owned a 2006 v6 mustang but i was in an accident, and the mustang is gone (sadly). But now i have money to get a new car. I m on the fence between the 2012 mustang v6 or the 2011 genesis 2.0t. They are both the same price and the genesis is one mile per gallon better on gas. They are both awesome cars! But i dont want another v6 mustang (prefer a gt, but i cant with gas...i drive alot) and the only problem i have with the genesis is after market parts are fuc*ing expensive!!!!

Please give me your you opions on your genesis coupes! Post pics of some modded genesis also! and yea i know that "its my car, my opinon matters most" but i wanna know what you all think about your cars!!!

My response is I have a Hyundai Genesis coupe track model 2011 with 5050 miles on it. It does bad on gas, trying to sell it I can not give it away...... I would highly recommend staying with the Mustang or Camaro. You have a bigger trade - sale market for these cars. Hyundai is not a trusted car company yet in the USA. Some will disagree but over the years GM cars I had no problem selling pretty quickly, this Hyundai the dealer did not even want to deal with it because it gets terrible gas mileage. They can not sell these cars on their lots around where I live. They told me they would have to ship it to Texas or California to get rid of it.. Brand new car with less than 6000 miles on stored in my garage for the winter and can not give it away....
