looking forward to uncovering what lies under the hood of my car and all the fun I can have with it. I just recently purchased my car but I have wanted one for years. Never expected to have purchased the one I did but I am definitely a fan. Interested to hear from other members who have owned a Genesis 5.0 for some time and get advice from the group.

I was going to replace my 2016 Hyundai Sonata Limited which I purchased a few years ago because it has all the bells and whistles I wanted on my Genesis (which I could not afford at the time) but after realizing all the maintenance I had performed on the car I could not let it go. In the last year, I purchased 4 new tires, had the tranny maintenance, brakes were done, radiator flushed along with the brake fluid. I was finally able to purchase the car that I have always wanted and boy is she a beauty. She's Navy blue with ivory-white interior was a 1 owner car with very low miles. With the 5.0 V8, she sure is fun to drive.

Yes, I still pinch myself every day when I get up and see her sitting in my parking spot.

when i bought mine the trunk lid taillight, rear cam, and plate light werent working. turns out a bracket in the trunk puts stress on the wires and causes them to snap. easy fix had to move some of the carpeting and splice in some jumpers. i had a bunch of snapped wires but it works fine now just a heads up in case u wanna prevent it or need to fix it in the future. post a pic of yours. i love seeing 5.0s in other colors

Thank you, I got really lucky when I found this car. I was looking at a 2018 V6 model and when I to take a look it had already been sold but it did not have everything I wanted. I was going to put off looking until next year and then this beauty pop up on my radar. I was hesitant because of the year of the car but the low miles (44K) intrigued me and the dealer that was selling it was very reputable. When I laid my eyes on her I was impressed and after the test drive, I was blown away. Took her home the next day, after getting my wife's approval of course...lol
