Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

New Transmission? TSB 24-AT-002H

So, got some hard shifts, no shifts, locked into gear and one code. Per the TSB the transmission must be replaced. Hyundai only replaces with rebuilt unit. Does anyone know what is failing in the transmission? The TSB covers A LOT of cars. Does anyone know if they remedy the failing part in the rebuilt unit?

My car is out of warranty and they offered a good will repair offer to pay 50%. Has anyone had any experience with good will repair offers? Should it be more? The trans had 130k on it which is most definitely not the expected life of the transmission. I assume if there is a TSB there must be a lot of these transmissions failing?
