2009 genesis 4.6 has a chugging or hesitation issue when acceleration. rpms seem to go up and down a little.

Is it throwing any codes? How many miles do you have on it? Constant or intermittent problem? How long has it been happening? Does it normally get maintained by you or a dealer?
Guesses here might be anything from fuel filter to secondary fuel pump to throttle position sensor to crankshaft position sensor etc.

taking it to my mechanic next week to put scanner on it. At lower speed it has a hesitation or a slight bucking motion. doesn't seem to do it at hwy speeds. Just started to really notice it a few weeks ago. I watch the rpms at say 40mph and they fluctuate a little up and down while holding steady on the throttle. The car has 97k. I bought it with 79k. my mechanic maintains it. I had to put and ecm ? computer in it already because one night it would not crank. all lights worked but no crank not even with a jump. Also noticing that my door lock button seems to be not working properly. It sometimes unlocks itself right after i push the button. May be possessed. lol
