Hey everybody. I was a member on RDTiburon.com and NewTiburon.com. I have barely posted on either of the sites in a few years since I've been so busy with life until I graduated recently.
I originally had a 1997 Hyundai Elantra Wagon GLS that my dad gave me to drive until I turned 18.
May 04 I got a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon all black. That was my baby.
Dec. 06 my parents got me a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6, since at the time, I was overwhelmed with schoolwork and bills that I couldn't afford the maintenance on the 01 Tib.
Sept 2nd, 09... I traded in the 06 Tib for a 2010 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L coupe in all white.
I would love to get more photos up, but this was taken with my cell. Right now I am working on replacing my digital camera battery. So sad.
I am a pretty avid car hobbyist. Been around cars my whole life with my parents buying and rebuilding them since they were teenagers. Hyundai never failed me. I have been following the GenCoupes since they were that crappy HCD8 concept, hahah. And now I'm just SO elated to FINALLY own one!
Not going to lie. I've been trying to get the elusive 3.8 Track but the one dealership within 200 miles that had it... wanted $36k and I'm not all about that.
I hope to get to meet a few of you! I am also confused. There are about 4 or 5 Genesis forums online and I'm used to say... 1 or 2 for the Tibs. Can anyone tell me which are the livelier ones? Is this a good forum?
Oh, and I live in NJ and would LOVE to meet other Jersey folk!! I haven't seen any GenCoupes being driven yet!
