No 2013's in So. Cal?

I was posting here a while back, and then decided to wait for the 2013. Today I searched for a 2013 sedan within 50 miles of my San Diego location and there were none. However I see a post where people are buying them. What gives?

Inventory seems to be very low...perhaps the distributor is holding them back until the 2012s are gone. Drew Hyundai in LaMesa shows two on their website.

Or maybe they sell them as soon as they come in. There are a lot of Hyundai Corporate employees in that area (HMA and the Research and Development Facility).

There was another load of 2013 Genesis that rolled off the ship again last week. I'm not sure how long it takes to process them and ship them out to the dealers, but I see them coming in here on the west coast a lot. Just I haven't seen any R Specs yet.

They are not in yet, on order, expecting delivery (at least that's what I was told last week) Want to check out the new updated DIS with Bluelink if they had one on the lot.

Easy to spot from pictures, look for new rearview mirror and changes to knobs/buttons by DVD player and updated buttons surrounding the DIS wheel.

What port is that?

They come in to Port Hueneme.

I haven't seen any R Specs yet that I can tell of. As I drive by the lot where they park, all I see is the regular ones. That's assuming the R Spec still has the different 19" rims.

I didn't know some cosmetics were changed inside on the 2013 since the exterior looked exactly like the 2012 lol

I hope the changed cosmetics include replacing the shiny plastic on the console and door arm rests. I drove Genesis with a black interior last week. Very dark. Very grim. Even the plastic trim on the console was black. I felt like I was driving a hearse. I'd love to see a grey interior on the Genesis.

No changes to exterior, or interior. Only changes are updated Nav/DIS, now with Hyundai Bluelink system. Familiar with BlueLink in the Sonata, wonder how this one on Genesis will work with no touch screen.

Earnhardt North Scottsdale (AZ) has a Titanium/Black 2012 R-spec. Only one left in AZ that I know of.

I've worked with Alex. He seems like a good guy and is certainly hardworking. I came close to getting a 2012 with him but couldn't find the color combo I wanted. We may still get it done.

OK they are here. I just saw 3 Titanium Grey Metalic R Specs sitting in the shipping lot here getting ready to load up on the trucks and sent out to a dealer near you.

If there are three sitting there, then I'm sure there are more back in the main lot getting prepped to be shipped out. So you should actually start seeing them on dealers lots soon.
