  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Drove the car over 100 miles yesterday with radio working fine. Got in the car this afternoon and no radio or using car's bluetooth for my mobile phone. No indication on the LCD's upper right hand corner to show bluetooth connected. Also, got message on LCD screen that there was no phone to connect to. Contacted Genesis Connected and all they could offer was to make an appointment with service...they don't give technical advice. Anyway, after stopping for a while to shop, bluetooth and radio functioned again when car was started. BTW, my cell phone did work independent of the car when other stuff not working. I'm sure some has an explanation for this glitch???

Probably you had this.

You're probably right. But, I find it interesting that Genesis has yet to explain what's happening. BTW, I think that shutting the car down and ALSO opening and closing the door before restarting may be the way to go???

Turning the car off for a "certain" period of time seems to be the solution.

Resetting the infotainment system using the little pin-button by the volume knob works to clear almost all AV/infotainment bugs. Except the subwoofers-not-working issue.
