  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

For the most part, this website retains about 5-7K unique visitors in traffic every day, quite a lot of attention for the Hyundai Genesis.

So in north america, there are about 600 dealerships for hyundai and their partners like Kia, so what's that, about 1-3 R-Spec's per dealership if only 1200 to 1300 cars were to be imported from Korea?

So what do you guys think, is this website really the epicenter of Hyundai Premium? 1300 Cars total, 600 dealerships, 7,000 People logging onto this website in traffic..

I guess my initiative to obtain a vehicle (to save my life embarrassingly enough) was spot on...

How do you guys think these numbers are panning out?
Vehicle 2012 R-Spec Sold out in North America?

Just an interesting prelude to something I've been working on since november of last year.

Have at the thought ladies and gents, please.

Just curious, how do you know there are 5-7K unique visitors to this site?

According to the HMA website, there are over 800 dealers in the USA.

The 1200-1300 number for R-Spec sedan imports was an estimate based on expected demand, not a fixed number.

I see Genesis R-Spec sedan commercials all the time, so not sure they are sold out (not sure there is a limit to how many than can build/import).

Interesting read indeed! I cannot wait to see those brilliant ideas of yours.

On the west coast where I work is where they also import the Hyundai's. I have seen very few R Specs roll thru compared to regular Genessis coming off the boats. I see maybe 1 every three months loading up on a truck to head out to a dealer. But I'll see well over 100 regular Genessis load up on trucks during that same time frame.

I actually talked to my dealer the other day. I bought my R Spec back in October. He has had only one other R Spec since I bought mine.

I've asked teh question before about production numbers but we still do not have a definative answer as of yet. Maybe near the middle of the MY'13 we can get the munbers.

Hyundai does not even break out the sales numbers between Genesis sedan and coupe, so it seems unlikely they are going to release sales numbers on R-Spec sedan. Dealers will tell you whatever they feel like saying to increase the odds of you purchasing one.

I keep seeing a lot of TV commercials advertising the R-Spec sedan (several this past weekend), so unless they are idiots and like to throw advertising money down the drain, they must be able to order more.
