  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

1. My vehicle is a 2012 Genesis Sedan 4.8L. My GPS is the DIS model (Technology Package).

2. I prefer to use the voice command system to enter navigation commands.

3. The major problem I have with the Navigation system is that while I'll be able to respond to the voice prompts to enter the state, city, and street of my proposed destination I may not have the precise street number. Should I not have this info the system will not allow me to "Start Route Guidance".

So my question is...how can I obtain navigation assistance (via the voice command system) if I do not have a complete street address including the street number?

Unfortunately I had so much frustration using the voice command with the NAV that I've basically given up trying to use it.
