  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD Ultimate; I just bought the foglights and was looking to see where anyone with the Ultimate installed their switch (if you used one)?

Factory Switch is on the Turn Indicator/Lights switch stalk.
Do you have any blanks for switches on the LH side of the dash?

While I installed the stalk FOG light switch so my fog lights can be operated like the OEM system, I also mounted a rocker and a button switch in the front console so I have the option of running the fog lights at either full or dimmed brightness regardless of the position of the OEM light switch. This way I can have my fogs on with just my running lights or have them on when I have my brights on as just two options. There is a pop out panel on the rear of the front storage console where the power points are and ran the wires thru that area and picked up power for the fogs from tapping into the power point power inside the center console. I then ran the wires out thru the passenger side firewall and picked up the ground from the ground terminal for jump starting and then down to the fogs. Here is a couple of pics of the switch both by itself and mounted and I can close the cover so the switch is hidden and since I used a connector for it I can completely remove all traces and the switch (except for the tap on the power point power) in less than a min.
