  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hi everyone,

Has anybody put the staggered factory 19" sport rims on a set of 225/40/19 winter tires? Wondering if it looks odd or if there are any issues? If you have done this, it would be awesome to see some pics.

Thanks

Don't think it's possible. I can't remember where I read it but the rear rims can only run 245 to 265 width.

The front ones can do 225 to 245 I believe. Your issue is with the rears. The only square setup you can run with stock rims is 245 width.

Interesting. The front rims are 8" wide and the rears are 8.5" wide so I figured the 225 would fit all the way around. I was also told that 245 won't fit in the front but I have seen that some people on here have done it.

Ah, yes I got it completely wrong. The quote I was referring to is
Just for reference 8in rim can support a range of width of 215 to 245mm and the 8.5in rim is between 225 to 255mm.

So based on that you can run 225 all around with stock rims. That thread was also started by you, so you probably already know that.

Since I don't have this setup, I shall tap out.

You could run 235 all around.
