The owners manual 2015 3.8 sedan mentioned that the total oil capacity is seven quarts. While changing oil the last quart or more will not drain until you tilt the car up higher on the driver's side which gets all of the oil out. Without doing this causes five quarts to be mixed with the old undrained oil.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Just wondering here, is your oil pan damaged, by any chance? I've never heard of not being able to get two whole quarts out of ANY car, Genesis or not.
