  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

1st generation Equus.

Hyundai already used vertical grill design since 1999.
It is not copy of lincoln MKS. (MKS production date was since 2008)

Thank you for posting this up! Now I know where to go when I see people complaining that the Equus grill copies the MKS grill...

Not to mention the XG300/350/Grandeur.
I never thought MKS when looking at the Equus grille. Infiniti comes to mind, but it's so silly when people resort to the "looks like" argument in order to bash a car. IMO 80-90% of the cars on the road today are derivative. If you really take the time you can find similar styling elements on nearly any car on the road.

If people really want to play the "looks like" game they should at least pick the right vehicle. :)

Come on. Give me a break. None of the cars pictured has a grill that looks anything like the MKS Grill.

BTW, what country is "PL"? Is that Poland? That plate is Europe, because in the new Unified Europe, they put the country code (PL) in the blue field on the edge of the plate. Examples;

(D) Germany
(F) France
(I) Italy
(CH) Switzerland
(GB) the UK
(NL) Holland

etc. etc. etc.
