Old Smart Key

I have a key from a 2020 Genesis G70 3.3t that I had before. I sold it and got into a 2021 G70 3.3t. I forgot to include the spare key when I sold it.

My question is:

Can I reprogram this old key to be used for my current vehicle?

I'd start by asking the dealer. You can't do it yourself as I'm sure you are aware.

I think if you have the original 2 fobs you can. I think the maximum is 3 active fobs, so a 3rd shouldn't be a problem. If you only have 1, then you might need a dealer. By the way, if you have the top two 3.3T trims, you could get an NFT key card instead, which you can carry in your wallet and can lock/unlock the car and start it like a fob. Hope this helps.
