  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

On to the next 100k

So, just a heads up. I had all my fluids changed at 100K. Tranny, transfer case, and front diff were replaced at 37K. Regular changes with rear diff, and motor oil. Now, at 100K, my mechanic said the transfer case fluid was very dirty, even though by the owners manual it says no service needed. He said the front diff, and tranny fluid looked pristine. I switched all my fluids over to Amsoil. Amsoil chaincase fluid made a huge difference in my snowmobile when shifting to and from forward and reverse. It used to clunk pretty good, but now is butter smooth. The tranny in the car now feels super smooth when shifting under hard acceleration, where as before it was a little notchy. Could be just new fluid but I'll take it.

Nice to hear it's all good for you and your 21. Did you just do a drain & fill on your AT? Will probably do a 2x drain & fill when I hit 60k on our 21 3.3.

It was a drain and fill. Bringing it back in 1K miles to do it again.
