  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Open Invitation to the Hyundai Think Tank

To follow up on this post, it seems like some demographics are not being accepted. For example, a 17 year old did not fit the criteria, although an 18 year old did. If you run into a demographic issue, please post under this thread about what your demographics were.

Dimitry,
You beat me to it:) Just read my email from Hyundai Think Tank and thought of the same. Good luck with the Microsoft Surface pad, you've got a pretty good chance of winning it on this forum I think.

Yeah, I was just about to post this....

Apparently they don't like my demographic.... a thought I've had about myself also... ;)

Im in! Thanks

What are the benefits of joining?

They are asking for a shitload of personal information.. makes me a bit suspicious..

I noticed that too so I stopped.

They are legit and operated by Hyundai. At various times throughout the year they offer live chats with various Hyundai designers or the president of Hyundai USA. I think they mainly use the website to generate some feedback for future packages, models, names and so on. The Hyundai Circle program is nice, but I've gotten better prices in the Chicago area simply by asking for a dealers lowest internet. Maybe in other parts of the country their pricing is more beneficial.

I've found this forum more useful for resolution of various problems, but Hyundai Think Tank is probably more helpful when dealing with a dealer that has screwed something up, or doesn't want to fix an issue.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The purpose of the website (from Hyundai viewpoint) is to get customer feedback and help them in marketing and design decisions. During chats with the CEO, Head of Marketing, etc, they ask a lot questions about what features are important to buyers, etc, so they can figure out which ones will sell in the marketplace. That is why they ask a lot of personal questions, since they need to know what kind of people are buying their products and also make sure they have a representative sample from the customer groups they are targeting.

For example, they are probably more interested in people who have purchased cars from their main competitors (or companies they would like to be considered to be their competitors). So when they are asking about the Sonata, they want to hear from current or previous Accord and Camry owners, and not the equivalent car from lessor respected brands.

I was asked to join fairly soon after I purchased my Genesis in early 2009. About the only reason I can think of to retain membership is the Circle Pricing (essentially employee pricing) but if one can get a Genesis for the same price (or even less) without that, not much reason to participate IMO. This forum has a lot more useful information.

+1

I joined over 4 years ago (bought my Genesis January of 2009) and spent about an hour on the tank and was bored out of my mind. I've been since kicked out of the tank for not logging in soon after my 1st visit.

I'm in too. Though I'm not keen any organization that would accept me as a member! LOL.

I've been a Think Tank member for about a year, but haven't been invited to the Circle. Answered every survey...maybe I need to ask for the invite specifically.

Everyone that is accepted inside the Think Tank should be able to access the circle pricing.

You'll find it under the Media Center tab, and select the last page. It's a perk for members, so please don't redistribute the unique CID to anyone else. The actual pre-determined price provided is a great price, but people can definitely do better on pricing.
