  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I need to know what ppl are paying for extended warranty for 2015 Genesis 5.0L with ~38k miles - I am specifically interested in the Original Owner VSC Coverage? Any comments would be great help as I want something so I can negotiate better at the dealer.

Does anyone have a Hyundai Protection Plan (HPP) or a Maintenance Plan through Hyundai?

This will be a very in-direct answer as I don't know anything about VSC coverage, but in reading many other sources, I would do some serious looking at various other after market "warranties".

When I bought my car at Carmax (actually a pleasant experience) a 5 year warranty was $795. If I get my car repaired there in the next 2 years it's $0 deductible, the next 3 years are $50. I've had a leaky tail light replaced, rear emblem replaced, some paint work when they screwed up the emblem and a loose foglight repaired for $0.

That's excellent pricing.
