P0076 3.8 v6 genisis coupe

2011 genesis coupe 3.8 only has 35,000 miles noticed one day the check engine light came on scanned the code and came back as a p0076 intake valve control circuit low bank 1 doesn't seem to be running weird like most with this code idles ok drives ok may seem a little slower in the top end but stopped driving it because I read that it can do damage to internals and timing
