  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am wondering how i can find out what type of package is in a specific genesis. I am looking at a 2011 3.8 sedan with 45k miles. I has a backup camera does that mean it comes with navegation also? The dealer didnt really notate all the features on it and they are about 4 hours away from me. I am really interested in it but would like to know what package or trim it has. Here is a link to the car if it helps. I am really interested in one and will probably be driving up there this week.

The easiest way is visually. I can tell from the first picture, by the wheels, that this car has the Premium Package, but not the Technology package.

Then, the sure clue is the picture of the navigation screen. If it has a screen (not a basic radio) with knobs around it, then it has the Premium Package navigation system.

The Technology Package has a slightly bigger screen with no knobs or buttons around the screen.

And then, if you look at the picture of the center console, behind the shifter, it does not have the DIS knob. The Technology Package will have the silver DIS knob between the shifter and that flip-up compartment in front of the arm rest.

Do what he says. When i was looking for mine the ads had so much misinformation so i just looked at pictures. But you have to be careful then too. Sometimes they use "stock" photos instead of actual photos of that car.
