  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I noticed today that Pandora and aha are accessible via Bluetooth now on my Genesis Ultimate's DIS. This is when paired with my iPhone 6 on iOS 8.1. The manual states that iPhones need to be plugged in via USB for Pandora and aha use. Has anyone else seen this come up all of a sudden? Pandora was able to work via the app BTW.

I've only been able to stream Bluetooth through my Droid turbo. Haven't tried those two as of yet. Unfortunately I've noticed that with the USB cord plugged in, the Google music player doesn't work.

I definitely don't have access to this over bluetooth. Have you been to the dealer recently where they might have performed an update or something?

I don't have to plug in my iPhone 6, Pandora works by Bluetooth from the phone.

I got my 3.8 Ultimate in July and have been able to stream Pandora via Bluetooth from my Droid Maxx from day one. I love it.

Nope, haven't had any update done by a dealer. Interestingly enough, Pandora worked with album art over BT on my iPhone 6. Today, however, the functionality is gone. Must have been a glitch, but it's nice to know it works over BT like on Android devices. Not sure why that functionality is left out for iPhone users.

works with my iPhone5 over blue tooth since day one. I have had my 5.0 ultimate now for about 2 months.

To the people saying it has worked since day 1 on multiple devices:
Are you saying that you have the full functionality depicted including the ability to up/down vote songs, get album art, and start Pandora using the head unit without initiating it on your phone first -- all without usb?

If you're just talking about the ability to start Pandora on your phone and then pick it up as a bluetooth audio stream, that has always worked and is different from what we're talking about.

Full functionality - some times the connection fails and you have to quit the Pandora accessory app and restart from the phone. Happens maybe 1 out of 5 times. Then it works fine

I noticed this on a Cadillac XTS rental I has this weekend. It had Pandora as part of their Cue interface and sometimes I had to restart it for no apparent reason....then it would work fine.

Not sure if your Genesis is the same but I couldn't figure out a way to create new Pandora stations from the car interface in the XTS....had to do it on the phone and then they were available to pick from on the car.

Have not used it in a little while but pretty sure all functions are accessible thru the Genesis Display except for the voting buttons (I dont remember seeing those on the screen). All this thru bluetooth no USB cable required.

Yes on the voting buttons, but you can't edit or create new stations -- which is understandable, just like you can't add new stations to your aha account via the on board display, although you can change from any of the stations you've pre-configured (so far as I've been able to see).

Full functionaliy using my Samsung note 3
