  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My Pano roof is very sluggish in opening and when closing I find myself helping it along the way until it closes. The dealer was unable to provide any guidance or advice except for wanting to replace / re-build it. Does anyone have a suggestion, possibly lubrication that might help?

If you do a search here you will find how other lubed them. Makes a big difference.

Like mentioned above, try lubing the sunroof tracks with white lithium grease. I would first try to clean the sunroof tracks and check them for any obstruction like small rocks or grit and then apply the grease.

Thanks so much to everyone for your suggestions. I will try them out and follow up on how it went!

Mine is rattling and doesn't want to close if i open it and I have yet to lube it. Can you link to a detailed how to guide on where to lube?
