Hi when I was looking at the new Genesis, the panoramic sunroof was a "Must Have".
I ended up buying a new 2013 RSpec instead.
My wife has a 2012 Kia Sorento. She was driving on a highway last week, and for no known reason her panoramic sunroof imploded shattering the safety glass everywhere! Her vehicle was not struck by any debris or anything. The temperature was moderate as well as her speed.
Upon some inquiry, there is a NHTSA investigation not just on Kia, but several other manufacturers for the same thing.
Luckily she was not injured but dealer has to order parts from Korea which will take 4-6 weeks. Ugh!
