  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2023 g70 3.3 has issue when it's 25 or below when i come to a stop my right front parking senor goes off flashing red with nothing in immediate area dealer said genesis knows of issue and a fix in the works so dealer won't fix and every time I bring it to dealer they claim tech can't reproduce issue which I don't believe

Welcome to the club.. seems to be very common. My dealer said it’s weather related and wait for it to warm up lol…

I'm sure it is annoying, but if they don't have the fix yet, what should they do? In order to reproduce it, the temperature has to be 25 or below. That means they cannot pull it in the shop and cannot do anything unless cold outside.

Meantime, if the fix is in the works but not ready, how should they fix it now?
I'd just push the button for now unless I was parking.
Ohm Genesis does not make that system. They are probably waiting on information from the supplier.

Not disagreeing but these sensors have been in use since at least 2018..

In my case they would go off at every single stop or slow down.. very annoying. Went to the dealer, they took the car for an hour and said no issue found even though mine said parking sensor error. I got the car back and it was fixed.. no more beeping or error. Very strange since it had been doing it consistently for a solid week before at every stop.

It could be that they just lose calibration in the cold and can’t recover enough. My feeling is they need a diagnostic reset and maybe that’s what they did when my car was in.. dunno

That may be part of the problem. Could be age related. Plastic covering, electronics, rain, road salt, high temperature variations, vibration, wind. What could possibly go wrong over years?
